Frequently Asked Questions

Are all lubricants toy and condom compatible? ​Condom compatibility varies and is specific to the lubricant formula. JO water-based and hybrid formulas are safe to use with most toys and condoms. JO silicone and oil formulas are safe to use with hard plastic, glass, metal, ceramic, and stone toys. They are not safe to use with silicone toys. 

​​Are JO lubricants vegan and gluten-free?​ JO does not use ingredients with animal byproduct in any of our products. The FDA does not currently classify personal lubricants as vegan, but JO meets the standards. JO does not use any gluten in our lubricant formulas; however, our products are manufactured in facilities that also manufacture products with gluten.​
